Two diabetes companies have formed an alliance to bring their foremost blood glucose meter to US diabetics.
The alliance will also help to educate people about their disease, and the positives of using an insulin pump alongside proactive diabetes management. The blood glucose meters will be distributed and co-marketed by the new company
The president of Diabetes business at Medtronic, Chris O’Connell, reportedly commented: “This alliance allows us to provide our patients with the best tools available for managing diabetes. Together with LifeScan, we will work to educate people about the benefits of insulin pump therapy and proactive diabetes management for improving health and extending life.”
The two companies are also set to promote awareness about insulin pump therapy. Medtronic are the world leader in diabetes management.
