According to a report from the leading UK diabetes charity, Diabetes UK, a single place has become available in one of their charitable challenges.
The Diabetes UK Channel Challenge pits teams of relay swimmers against the task of swimming across the English Channel, all to aid Diabetes UK. Diabetes UK are the largest charity in the UK devoted to the care and treatment of people with diabetes .
Diabetes UK are fielding two teams of six, who will swim relay on the crossing. The charity have stressed that the crossing will take a lot of hard work and determination, with the team already in training for the event.
