Pharmaceutical company and diabetes monitor supplier Roche has created a new program designed to help diabetes health professionals engage with and motivate their diabetes patients .
The coaching has been included under the Behaviour Change Through Patient Engagement Program, with the aim being to improve communication between patients and their health workers .
The vice president and general manager of Roche diabetes care in North American, Luc Vierstraete, reportedly commented: “As the world leader in diabetes diagnostics, we truly appreciate the efforts of educators and other healthcare professionals, who help their patients lead healthier lifestyles.”
