Reverse Your Diabetes also highlights the importance of self-monitoring blood glucose testing for people with type 2 diabetes to monitor how these changes affect readings.
Dr. Cavan will be talking to Colin Philpott, vice-chair of NHS Bradford Districts CCG, at the University of Bradford, Richmind Building Great Hall from 1.30-2:30pm.
His talk falls within the wellbeing strand of the festival, which features a number of events on physical and emotional health.
