The HumaPen Luxura from Lilly is designed for use with Lilly’s 3mL insulin cartridges.

The HumaPen is made from metal and has a reassuringly solid design.

Dosages are mechanically dialled by hand and each unit dialled produces an audible click. Changing cartridges is made simple and the screw in parts of the pen are well made and reliable.

Available in 2 colours

The HumaPen Luxura is available in two colours:

The two colours can help to differentiate between two different insulins or to mark which one as a spare pen.

Delivering doses in single units

The HumaPen Luxura delivers doses in single units, however, Lilly also do a half units version of the Luxura - the HumaPen Luxura HD.

I was wondering why we have to prime the pen every time we use it. I take it twice a day, when I prime it in the morning, why doesn't it last for next time it's used? Thank you, Brenda Power

Hi! I have the HumaPen LUXURA. As I am going on holiday in the very near future, 22nd May, I was wondering if there was a cool bag designed for this pen and Insulin etc. We will be in Crete, Greece for 2 weeks and I need to be able to carry enough meds safely. Thank you, Vic.
