Here at Diabetes.co.uk we are incredibly proud to announce that we have been nominated by Lloyds Bank National Business Awards for Lloyds Bank Positive Social Impact Award 2016.

Taking place at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane on Tuesday 15th of November, we will be attending what has been dubbed “the Oscars of great British Business” by former Prime Minister, David Cameron.

To be chosen from hundreds of other businesses is a great honour. It recognises the effort we are making as a team to improving health- not only for the Diabetes community but for everyone. It makes us even more determined to accomplish our goal of changing the world. Launching our Low Carb Program in 2015 was just the start of our missio, having 140,000 people enrol within 6 months. Not only did this change people’s lives for the better, but it also had a huge impact on NHS savings.

Tom Broughto, Group Brand Director of the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards said: “Due to the high number of entries for this years’ awards, narrowing the entries down to 140 finalists was a difficult task. But through a thorough and comprehensive judging process, the selected finalists demonstrate exceptional quality and diversity across a range of business sectors within the UK. We are now looking forward to the next step of the process and meeting some of the finalists face-to-face.”

Here at Diabetes.co.uk HQ we’re looking forward to sharing with the judges our mission.
