This is the OneTouch UltraEasy from LifeScan. It’s pretty much what it says on the tin. One of the things that healthcare professionals have to address is that given the excuse a lot of people won’t blood test as much as they should. What the blood test machine companies have to overcome is that resistance.

By making the machines as simple and attractive as possible it should encourage people to blood test. Lancing device comes with the model – you prime it and release like that. I’ve already got my strip in the meter. Counts down in 5 seconds with a small amount of blood and that’s your results just like that.

It can store up to 500 results which you can download to computer and play with using the OneTouch software so you can see patterns and results. It comes in a range of colours. I love this metallic pink – most groovy. They are very nice to old and easy. Different people have different feelings about sizes of screens. If you’re not hard of sight maybe you don’t need a big screen.

This is quite discreet and it doesn’t look medical, which is nice.
