The multi-award-winning Low Carb Program is now available in 9 languages.

The Low Carb Program provides structured education and long-term behaviour change support through health coaching, and personalised user experience to support patients to achieve self-selected health goals by reducing the amount of carbohydrates to 130grams a day. The app is used by patients with obesity, pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and polycystic ovarian syndrome.

The platform now supports a variety of faith and ethnic groups, with education, support and coaching in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Urdu, Tamil, French and German.

The app recently welcomed its 460,000th member. Arjun Panesar, Founding CEO of DDM Health, providers of the Low Carb Program said: “We’re delighted to support the diverse and varied populations of the UK with native-language, culturally adapted support.”

Peer-reviewed, published outcomes of the Low Carb Program show that participants with type 2 diabetes who complete the intervention lose an average of 7% of their body weight and 1 in 4 are in type 2 diabetes remission at 1-year. The app is available on the web, iOS, Android, Oculus (VR) and Amazon Alexa.
