The multi-award-winning Low Carb Program has launched a January Bootcamp for new and existing members who are seeking support to lose weight, eat healthier and achieve their health goals in 2021.

The 4-week Bootcamp provides new and existing members with tried-and-tested meal plans, live meetups, cook-alongs and on-demand classes aimed at kickstarting healthy habits into January and beyond.

Launched in 2015, the Low Carb Program is a behaviour change platform that supports people to reduce the amount of refined carbohydrates and processed foods in the diet.

The NHS-approved nutrition streams and meal plans are tailored to disease, budget, dietary preferences, cultural and social norms. Members can browse over 1,800 recipes tailored to allergies and dietary preferences.

Low Carb Program was selected as the category-leading app for type 2 diabetes self-management and remission in the Best Health Apps 2020.

Health outcomes from the Low Carb Program show that participants who complete the program reduce their body weight by a significant 7.4kg at one-year follow-up. Twenty-six percent of patients achieve type 2 diabetes remission at 1-year.

The platform is now available on web, iOS, Android, Apple/Google Watch and Amazon Alexa and recently partnered with NHS Digital to enable users to sign up with their NHS login.

The Low Carb Program Bootcamp runs throughout January.
