• 1 slice of bacon
  • 1/2 cup of onio, chopped up
  • 1 cup of celery
  • 2 1/2 cups of black beans, cooked, drained
  • 2 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoon of salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon of ground pepper


Fry bacon in pan over medium heat until done. Crumble or slice and set aside. In same pan add onion and celery and stir. Puree of thinly slice beans and stir into vegetables. Add bacon and other ingredients, and cook until thickened. Serve hot.
